Our origin story
The 2021 Waukesha parade tragedy affected several members of the Waukesha Church of Christ. In searching for a resource to help, we were informed of a local grief support ministry. Several members ended up volunteering in this ministry for several years; among them were Andrew and Katie Green.
For two years, Katie served as the Program Director of Healing Hearts before moving on. During those two years, both Katie and Andrew felt that the grief support group they were involved in was helpful, but was missing a primary ingredient: a Christ-centered curriculum. Combining their spiritual background and their new passion for those in grief, they built SoulShare.

Most of Katie's life has been directed towards a ministry like SoulShare. Her family served as missionaries in a Taiwanese orphanage for 7 years. After earning a bachelors in Sacred literature with a minor in Pedagogy, she taught Sunday schools and wrote VBS curriculum as a missionary in Ukraine for 11 years. She is at the heart of a number of children's ministries in the Waukesha Church of Christ and develops the children's and Teen curriculum for SoulShare.
Andrew, a New England native, earned a masters in Theology and has served as the minister of the Waukesha Church of Christ since moving to Wisconsin in 2015 with Katie and their four children. When He is not busy with his two main passions; ministry for the church or developing SoulShare's adult curriculum and website, he can be found working on his 'honey-do-list' or hunting.
